Sophie Classic Mobile
Planmed's mobile mammography units weigh only 180 kg (396 lbs). They have large 16 cm (6 1/4") front wheels and 13 cm (5") rear castors with 7 cm (2 3/4") ground clearance ensuring excellent mobility and easy transportation.
No heavy batteries or motors are needed for moving the unit. The units are simply driven into a compact transportation position where the C-arm is safely locked with a smart arrester. Due to the extremely compact design the unit has excellent mobility with good steering visibility.
Active brake system facilitates safe moving of the system. The unit has hospital grade, non-staining wheels and the front wheels are equipped with locks. With a total height of 119 cm (46 7/8") the unit is easily transported in a normal van.
Moreover, Planmed's mobile units are ready to be used immediately after transportation. A wide line voltage range together with 15 A fuses allow simple wall outlet connections in most places.

In addition to optimizing image quality, AOP has the added advantage of taking the guesswork out of parameter selection.
